It’s summertime and tis’ the season to enjoy the great outdoors!
Yes, sometimes the unbearable Southern Cali heat might deter you from enjoying time in the sun, but I promise you Street FoodCinema will be completely worth the adventure!
Street Food Cinema is celebrating their fifth season of outdoor street food fun and movie watching! A perfect event to pack up your picnic goods, pillows, throws and all sort of creations to build your mini sectioned off fort. Bring your creativity because even your pet Shibu can join in on the fun! The production is the perfect summertime event to bring the family, a date, or group of dates. And if you don’t have a date, then gather a group of sisterhood of the traveling blankets. Heck, this is even more romantic than the girl standing in front of the boy asking him to love her. Trust me when I say your cinematic adventure has evolved to a whole new level!
Street Food Cinema is LA’s largest outdoor movie presentation featuring cult classics like the Goonies, Boys In the Hood, Fight Club, Clueless and much more, with an additional fun in the sun interactive games. Live music performances by awesome bands that will get you groovin’ to popular cover songs! What better idea than to sit outdoors with the scent of fresh churros in the air and the moon acting as the only night light to your open theater! The giant inflatable screen and powerful projector, along with the many speakers surrounding the crowd, work wonderfully together to create an enjoyable movie experience with Mother Nature under the stars.
I was able to partake on 500 Days of Summer held at Victory Park in Pasadena, and we were treated to an interview with the director of the popular film, Marc Webb, and writer, Scott Neustadter. They graced us with their presence and shared their inspirations and the ideas behind 500 Days of Summer. I loved how Street Food Cinema invites the ones responsible for creating the film to join the crowd in watching the film!
Street Food Cinema‘s events are held in across South California, all the way down from San Diego, up to the Malibu Cliffs! So check out their website: http://www.streetfood
I highly recommend getting the Reserved Seating ($18) as spots fills up fast and you want to be as close as possible to everything!
