Our Trip.com members was just getting over the Holiday blues, already missing the spirit of Christmas when Chill at The Queen Mary saved our sorrow for yet another week of Happy, Merry and Cheer!
On December 27th, we embarked on an international Christmas Expedition at the all- NEW Chill, held at the The Queen Mary in Long Beach. This year Chill has become the new Ice Adventure park, the first of its kind in the US.
Our Trip members were so graciously escorted by our host Sabrina who gave us the in’s and outs about the park, while our Trip Members followed her admiring in awe on all the amazing dancing lights which paired perfectly with the music!
Our first stop was the Zip line, a fun feature that that gets the adventurer in us going for what lies ahead! Than it was the Ice Bumper cars, our Trip members were so surprised we almost slipped as the ground we walked on were made with REAL ice! We skipped over to the Matterhorn Mountain for a friendly race down the two-story, 140 foot- long Ice Tubing slide!
After watching the mini show we were ready for another friendly race on the Ice Tricycles, a nice little workout before we headed over for some “adult-fun” in Russia, where the Pinnacle Ice Bar Tasting resides. Trip sponsored this one-of-a-kind experience, we were offered huge coats to keep us warm in what seemed to be a oversized refrigerator, the fun was taking a vodka shots in the freezing cold. I am not going to lie the shots def helped with the cold, and we made good use of the throne that was made entirely out of ICE ( tons of Game of Throne poses here) !
Overall its as clear as ice that Chill at the Queen Mary was seriously way Cooler ( no pun intended) than ever before!
