Belated Valentines Day Ideas
Tis the season where Hallmarks and flower shops’ sales soar off the charts with overpriced tags, and broken wallets for husbands, boyfriends and girlfriends alike! Valentine’s Day is yet another high blood pressure holiday when we celebrate our feelings for someone, so many exist but none greater than LOVE. Or is it just another marketing strategy for businesses boost sales? Well, because the greed of making money off of love is tacky as it is.
What am I talking about, I absolutely love love, and if there is a reason to celebrate this special holiday whether it’s with a friend, your significant other, your pet..hell, even your mistress. Love is LOVE, scratch the mistress part. I got a bit carried away with the reality of life.

Anything with a scenic view, you are bound to get anyone smitten over you. Nothing says, “You’re my world!” like a view as far as the eye can see. Now I know what you’re thinking, how can anything with a view be affordable?

When you are dining here make sure you order the edamame, as simple as it sounds it’s lightly salted and also, don’t forget the shiitake mushroom tempura.
Their lychee saketini is pretty darn delicious and is perfect to loosen up any awkward date! Dinner, dancing and an amazing view…definitely, sets you up for a great evening!
Di Pillas Italian Restaurant
Now if you really want to impress your date, A cute and creative idea is to go to a drive in theater, if you have a truck, deck that back seat up and stop by your local mom and pop restaurant for something to-go, a delicious take out would be Di Pillas Italian Restaurant, located in Rosemead.
They have some amazing garlic bread and italian food is naturally carby so don’t worry about your date being hungry.
Order one or two of their delicious homemade pasta dishes, spinach fettucine is a favorite mine. They also have some amazing vegetarian pizza.
